EXPLORE THE COLLECTION STORY
If you're still adjusting to life indoors, you're not alone. For us, staying at home has meant completely redefining the way we work and balance our home routines – as well as the way we dress! Here's how we've been giving our wardrobes and our lifestyles a positive new spin...
If you're anything like me, the last week has felt like a whirlwind, settling into working from home and finding the rhythm of each day. By day three, I realised I was reaching for the same thing every morning: my most comfortable straight leg trousers and a colourful knit or tee. A perfect formula for me that combines comfort and my love of colour! Style tip: I haven't had time to overhaul my wardrobe, so rather than staring longingly at my favourite heels and midi skirts, I've reshuffled it to create an easy-to-access shelf with all the pieces I know I'll wear. The fit and fabric of them are perfect for working from home, and just as practical when I usher my son out the door on our daily walk. Key colour: Green has been an emerging trend for some time and it's never felt as pertinent as now. Clean and fresh – I think it's my way of trying to bring a bit of the outside in! My desk is next to a window and I'm watching the blossom grow on our tree in real time. Today its buds are full to bursting, who knows, tomorrow it might flower!

Since the lockdown, life for me has been busier than ever. On a daily basis, I'm juggling conference calls with my team and looking after my two teenage daughters, which doesn't leave much time for anything else at the moment! But in the midst of the chaos, I'm finding pleasure in the simple things... On the little things: I'm relishing my early morning speed walk, and really appreciating the fresh spring air and bright sunshine. My advice to anyone right now would be to get outside once a day if you can, just to take in some fresh air. It will just leave you feeling reinvigorated, even if the rest of the day you're working indoors. On staying motivated: At my new workspace (my kitchen table), I've surrounded myself with photos of friends and family, as well as inspiring imagery. I've also pulled out some of my favourite fashion books, so I can peruse them in my short breaks for inspiration – I love Vogue Covers and Women by American photographer, Slim Aarons. On her stay-at-home style: My working from home wardrobe has become a selection of knitwear or contemporary blouses pared back with our Gia stretch jeans. I know I can wear them now and will restyle them in many ways in the future. The Miriam blouse is my favourite pick for this week. A very modern take on this season’s floral prints.
